Shreyas R Krishnan ('16) wins an Excellence Award at MoCCA Arts Festival 2016

Current student Shreyas R Krishnan ('16) won an Excellence Award at the MoCCA Arts Festival 2016 in recognition of the most outstanding work on view at the festival. Her winning piece, also a part of her thesis work at ILP, was 'Becoming Rosie' a short comic examining Rosie the Riveter and performative gender.

The awards were juried by Calista Brill, Cliff Chiang, Charles Kochman, Mark Newgarden and Lauren Weinstein.

Jun Cen '13 wins Best Overall New Talent at AOI Illustration Awards 2013

Recent graduate Jun Cen has won the Best Overall New Talent award and Best New Talent Book award in this years AOI Illustration Awards for his work Entrance / Exit (above).

Cen has also received many accolades for his animated short filmMutual Tunnels (below). This work was selected for American Illustration’s International Motion Art Awards 2 as well as the Indie Memphis Film Festival.
