Shreyas R Krishnan ('16) wins an Excellence Award at MoCCA Arts Festival 2016

Current student Shreyas R Krishnan ('16) won an Excellence Award at the MoCCA Arts Festival 2016 in recognition of the most outstanding work on view at the festival. Her winning piece, also a part of her thesis work at ILP, was 'Becoming Rosie' a short comic examining Rosie the Riveter and performative gender.

The awards were juried by Calista Brill, Cliff Chiang, Charles Kochman, Mark Newgarden and Lauren Weinstein.

Yiran Guo ('17) winner in Enoch Pratt Library Window Display Contest

Current first year ILP student Yiran Guo, is one of the six winners in Baltimore's Enoch Pratt Free Library Window Display Design Contest. Her window installation, inspired by Eric Carle's The Very Hungry Caterpillar is on view at the Central Library through January 18, 2016.

There is also a public vote for the crowd favorite window display. Head over here to vote for Yiran. Voting is open until December 31.
