Finding and Branding your Voice
The world of illustration has expanded. Anymore, there are no rules for an illustrators to stay (or work) in one particular market or genre. Instead illustrators can use their name and their personal visual voice to “brand” themselves working across many markets. But crossing over fields and media, one needs to develop an artistic voice that is strong.In this lecture Aya Kakeda will share how she found her artistic voice and her journey through different illustration markets such as editorial, product design, department display, comic, and gallery work.
