Lunchtime Lecture with Jamison Odone

Join MFA Illustration Practice for the first Lunchtime Lecture of the year on Jan. 26th at 12:15 in the Lazarus Center Auditorium with author, artist, illustration, and educator Jamison Odone who will be speaking live via Skype. Jamison was born and raised in Rhode Island and is now a professor of Illustration at Frostburg State University in Maryland. He is an artist, first, but not by choice as he is out of options for any other talents. He writes and Illustrates children's books and graphic novels some based on historic events and people. He has illustrated the poem Annabel Lee by Edgar Allan Poe; Lewis Carroll's Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland; The Bedtime Train by Joy Cowley and himself; and his self-authored books Honey Badgers, Mole Had Everything, and Poor Joseph: A mini-narrative about one of history's most curious figures, The Elephant Man.
