The Zombie Tooth is a picture book about a five-year-old child named Miranda who one day notices that one of her front teeth is a different color. The story deals with attachment and separation at an early age.
The inspiration for this story originated from the author’s personal recollections of her childhood in Galicia. It is told through a light-hearted point of view and in a language which children can comprehend.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Laura Riveiro is a Galician-Spanish illustrator and author of picture books. Her goals are to work as an illustrator and writer of picture books for children and adults and create editorial work for newspapers and magazines. She dreams about writing picture books in different languages to make them accessible to people from different backgrounds.
